When we started out in group queue surf would do 800+ in a firestarter pretty regularly. I assume he burned out on playing it.
Wub-Firebrand is nice...but I do miss the long range option of the PPCs, but giving it up to facemelt lights is nice.

I managed to get the S variant last night with Cbills, but now I need to save up a good 6-10mil before I can fully kit both the Firebrand and the S the way I want them.
I got the Warhawk-C yesterday and moved my dual gauss build over to it. I like having the ERLL in the CT rather than in the left arm. Now I can zombie if need be. I put 2x LPL, 1x UAC-20, and 2x SRM6+A on my Warhawk-A. My next buy will probably the the Warhawk Prime and that will end up being energy vomit. I'm thinking 2x ERPPC, 2x ERLL and a targeting computer. Either that or I'll get the B variant and use that CT missile slot and do an SRM boat with 5x MPL

I want to go back to light piloting soon.  I just got a bit burned out on light piloting because of how punishing mistakes are.  Plus its easier to fit into lances with you guys since most people run slower mechs.

You missed last night when Eightball/TronPaul/Elder won us a match with 3 lights on one of viridian bog resources, 2 Firestarters and a raven

So...running a 12 man group will artificially inflate your ELO a lot, no matter what the experience level or mechs the group is running is.

Next time we get that many people online, we should split down into two six mans.

We had a bad night last night. We've had good nights too though. Some people haven't played that much, some have barely played solo queue, some only own 1 or 2 good mechs.

As people keep playing the game and get more experience they will invariably* get better.

And if we're doing really bad we can have people play their best role/mech and not just what they want to level.

[/quote]Re: group size vs ELO, that's only what Kor's been saying since we started playing :/ But yes, it's seemed to me like groups of 4-8 seem to have the best results in group queue.

Watching that was disgusting.
None of us got a screen cap, but Rummy, Surf, I, and a rando light capped the base on caustic valley, we all did 0 damage and were the only ones left alive on the team.

Oh and the other team we like all some Davion group
There should be an auto screencap option. Or just remember to slap F12 next time during the jocularity

That YOLO cap was hilarious.  We were literally seconds away from just getting blown up like the rest of our team.

Also we discovered last night that 3 lights working together do more work than probably any other 3 mechs in a pub queue.  We just picked apart assault mechs from the back and when they tried to take us out it would give our team the space they needed to push in.

I could not stop laughing, wrekt some Davion scrubs, good way to end the night.

And yes, we turned around at least two matches but bum rushing the deathball from the rear.
