Biggest element we need is assaults leading charges.
Also biggest guaranteed loss is walking a train of mechs into a wall--please fan out
Clumping is almost as bad.
We need to mighty-duck more and centipede less.
In crater-nascar, mediums and lights need to yield inner lanes to assaults.
After the assaults make contact, push forward in the outer lanes to get a nice angle on enemies.
BUT WAIT FOR THE ASSAULT TO TANK THE INITIAL ALPHAS
Having different lanes also prevents retreat/shot blocking
This applies to every map
when the assaults start the charge don't wuss out

Agreed, Surf. When we work together proper things go way better. Also people need more time to earn mechs.
Its a little of both, trying to level mechs or earn cash as our skill level is currently beyond 4 people is _hard_
We'll win a match or two, then get face stomped a few times, then repeat winning a few.
One person needs to self declare as target caller, others may call out 'XYZ is lit, right leg' - but beyond that we don't need to hear about BS - after we get better, then we can get back to the BS and it not interfering with things as people's general skill levels and spacial awareness will have risen.

It would be nice if we could play with nkva and see HOW to play as a team.

I was hoping someone would post the screenshot cuz I forgot to take one but the SECOND game we played that night after I posted this we were paired with NKVA. Not much learning though, we kinda just rolled and made anime comments.
Last night, we did not lose a single game of group queue (at least while I was playing...)

We played a couple more rounds after you left and won them all too. Last night was a good run.
I wanna post that nkva Screenshot but have been out of town since that night. It was glorious.

If I added any of you as Thick McRun Fast, I have since changed my name to my usual Luinbariel.
Looks like a lot of clan buffs in there

I installed the game.
ILU
Now, we must play robits

Robutts
Also Didzo, expect to suck for a while. The trial mechs are not very good but they're a starting point. Don't spend any cbills (in game currency) until after you complete your first 25 matches. You get a bonus for those that when you're done should give you enough to buy and outfit a mech of your own.

Awwww yis. I'll be on tonight when I'm done cleaning and doing laundry. Also, yeah, expect it to be rough at first. It's more like learning how the game works right off the bat. Also in options, turn off start in third person (or is it turn on start  in first person?) and turn arm lock off.
Storm Crow is a good mech to start with. Reasonable speed, armor and guns. Also, try firing all of the Banshee's guns at once at least one time. Hilarious.
Body is so ready for those new mechs. Even playing my Nova in couple matches can't outstrip the anticipation :|
The Huggin is a monster. That is all. (Don't even have it elited yet)

I've just been playing the death's knell. It's not a great mech, but I am still making more money since it gets double c-bills this weekend. It's good for capturing points on conquest, and you can make decent money if you do it well.
Elder'd next mech name: Centrifiliac (the f can be replaced with ph). He decided this while playing GTA V
