i tried to craft goggles, got dildo instead. crafted that with modest pile and ended up with soldier pot. thats cool and all, but i already got stash kabuto and drill sgt :\

It would be cooler if when you had multiple class-specific hats you could make a pile out of those, I'd totally wear the rubber glove and brainslug at the same time...

So, during the midst of the celebrations tonight, I had a dead ringer drop.  I crafted this with my Cloak and Dagger to get the last scrap metal I would need for a random hat.  Anticipating what may happen, I put the three reclaimed metal in the craft area.  Holding my breath for a moment, I pressed the button.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I consider myself the luckiest man on the face of brb.u

I just crafted a hat with all my metal and I got the Tyrants Helm hat! That's my favorite hat for the Soldier, so I am happy. Much, much better than the Soldiers Stash I got a while ago.

Edit: I got the Heavy Duty Rag. It's pretty worthless since I already have Officers Ushanka, but I suppose I could have gotten worse.

Well, the first time I ever used rebuild headgear: panama (just found a yellow belt) + baker boy (just found, already had one) = brain slug. 

Now I have a different hat for every class (using gibus for hobospy, halo on medic).

Cancer Bros, was my first drop ever a few months back. 8)

I just got a mullet...

I'm like two scrap metals away from crafting a random hat, but I'm gonna wait until the polycount stuff comes out.

actually, the only hat I might want from polycount is the Grenadier's Softcap.
