Aye, it was a general statement in nature, but sadly applies to many a scenario.

A jumping spider decided to start living in my car. Probably got in when I left my windows cracked open in the heat yesterday, and resisted my attempts to remove him without smashing him. Hopefully he gets out today while my windows are cracked open again, because I'm going to smash the fuck out of him if he freaks me out while I'm driving again like he did this morning when he started crawling across the dash.

to hell with that, I would have freedom'd the shit out of that spider as soon as it was known he had encroached on the sovereign territory of my vehicle. 

Jumping spiders are easy to corral into a cup and make a big mess if squished.

They're also as close as spiders can get to being cute.
