Meh.
I mentioned this song to a few of you at ACEN, posting here now. It's a treat if you like electronic. Is it dubstep? I don't know what dubstep is.

I'm sure nitrous oxide could give a better analysis, but it sounds more like glitch hop to me. Definitely not dubstep.
New Anamanaguchi album is out and it is pretty good.

Duck, Duck, Goose

Inukshuk - The Matterhorn [Electro House]

My YouTube channel for underground electronic music (all kinds). Big Grin
Finally listened to the new Daft Punk album. I'm not floored by it and don't see it as amazing or whatever, but I really do like the fact that they tried something different. It's good relaxed listening and it seems like they really explored with it. I look forward to seeing where they go next.
Google Music All Access is what I am listening to right now.

It's basically Google's Spotify.  Brand new, released at I/O.  It is honestly very good.  It's got all the music I listen to on Spotify, including some more obscure stuff, like indie game soundtracks and a lot of chiptune.  The radio works reasonably well, not sure if liking a song improves the station Pandora-style or not, but it works well enough out-of-the-box.  I love how it basically just makes a playlist, so you can easily drag around tracks and remove ones you don't want or add ones in.  You can then save the radio playlist and download to device for later.  It has a very clean interface, very nice to use.  It sort of goes for an overall taste adaption instead of individual radios or playlists.  Haven't used it enough to see how good it is.  It doesn't have a desktop client and runs in a browser, which is good and bad.  Good cuz I can listen to it anywhere, no install necessary.  Bad because then it doesn't work with my media keys.  It does also let you upload 20k of your own songs, regardless of size.

So tl;dr, Google Music All Access: Better than Spotify.  However, I will continue to use Spotify because 1) All my music is already there and 2) All my friends are there.
Let me point out Pandora was launched under the Music Genome project, a project in which Google had a very large hand in for a long time. I expect the same (or similar) technology put in place. So it would be safe to assume you probably do get "improved stations" by Liking or Disliking particular songs.... plus, you can skip infinitely without commercials or limits... plus until the end of june it's only $7.99/mo however if you do sign up before then it STAYS $7.99/mo indefinitely (they announced this at I/O). Of course excepting a cancellation/restart/etc.
All Access confirmed for having way more music than Spotify.

From what I understand this was done live. That being the case... that is insanely low latency... from space.

You're looking at ~330ms, one way, from orbit.
Upwards of 700ms for a two-way trip.
