Okay so super late to the ride and it's western but uh, Korra is pretty good.

I put off watching it because the ending of the first season feeling so rushed and the start of the second season seemed to jump to the themes of the spiritual side of that world really bumpily. But now I am just kind of admiring the visuals and character dynamics even if they are not always that complex. Sometimes it seems too soap opera-ish but at the same time they really explore what they can do with bending, farther than the last airbender really could yet it still retains most of the nature of the the last airbender, tackling tough choices and moral thoughts in life while not taking itself TOO seriously with a hint of eastern philosophy.

Also Death Parade was pretty k.

Korra is pretty awesome.

Definitely some spots where the show suffered visually, and story wise... but over all it was pretty awesome.
