What part of "Degreaser: Added -10% damage" is unclear?


Regular flamethrower gets +10% damage to offset it's slower weapon switch time compared to Degreaser

Backburner loses it's +10% damage bonus bringing it back to it's original form, albeit with reflect capability.

Degreaser loses 10% damage.

Read the note. It sounds like those are applied after the base flamethrower stats, which means Degreaser doesn't lose any damage. Regardless, this changing in the beta in no way guarantees it'll actually happen, and even if it does, I have no problem with it. The whole point of using the Degreaser over stock Flamethrower is to use your other weapons more and not rely so much on just the flames.

Degreaser is dropped to the nerfed damage flamethrower used to have. I'd say it's a fair trade for the weapon swap speed, especially if Pyro DOES get the Reserve Shooter.

Pyro is still my most played class and I have no complaints about it.
