Worth it?  I'm the kind of guy who doesn't like to buy any game no matter how cheap it is if I feel like I'm wasting my time playing it  :-X

It's fun, but it can get old really fast due to its repetitive missions.

However, the game is worth more than the five dollars.
Def worth $5.  The missions do get repeettitive, but I have fun with the murdering and the searching for flags and templars to murder (don't approach where they can see you) Tongue
CoD4 for $24. Is it worth it?

No.  Unless you like CS.  Then I guess maybe.  Everyone will be playing that instead of MW2 anyways.
yes it's worth it
heads up, mass effect is $10 on steam this weekend. I just bought it and i must say that it is becoming a hindrance to my productivity this weekend.
Somewhat of a deal.  Walmart had a special on 360 arcades this weekend, get a free $100 gift card.  Since my 360 rrod on me i decided to get one.  Well good news i got one, and i got another one at best buy since id rather have a BB gift card instead of walmart.  But this is where you guys come in.  I'm going to try to sell the walmart one locally for $150.  I'll ship it out to somewhere for $165 if anyones lookin to get one.
So, looks like there's a little bit of pre-weekend madness on steam.

There's Crysis and it's expansion for 30 bucks total, and all the overlords out there for a little under 10 dollars.

Any words on either game, I might think about picking up the overlord pack.

If your computer can handle it at at least high, I'd say go for Crysis. It's a pretty good game actually. Nice wide open areas and several different ways to go about your missions. I picked up crysis: warhead alone for $20 and though it was pretty worth it. the entire collection for $30 is a steal.

If you thought the AI, especially for the Koreans, sucked then I can only assume there hasn't been a game with good AI yet in your eyes.

the koreans were fine, but if you honestly think the super soldier or [u]esp. the helicopter AI were good I feel sorry for you and your family because they probably have to wipe your retarded, brain-damaged self's diapers daily

the helicopter section of the game was so infuriating that I never finished it

At least we can agree that even virtual Koreans are competent. The only things I specifically remember about the Korean super soldiers is how strong those dicks were. Yeah, and the helicopter must have a tracker on you or something because no amount of cover deters the thing. I'll give you that, but I still think you are being sensational. You know, there are a couple Crysis AI mods that might fix that a bit.

i played overlord for a few hours.. i liked it a bunch.... got a bit repetitive and not exactly apparent where to go next at times ,but pretty fun - didn't beat it (but i never play any game till the end)
the helicopters were just like stupidly game-breaking. i could be cloaked and nearly invisible, hiding under a rock under the water in a river in a jungle a kilometer away and they would still have their guns locked on me with near pinpoint accuracy. if there are mods to fix that sort of gamebreaking bad, i would try the game again but i legitimately screamed at my computer and how stupid the developers were when they coded that section of the game

Reminds me of my experiences in the first rainbow 6 game....why did the untrained militant just hit me at 2000 yards with iron sights and an AK-47 in unfavorable weather conditions when Im under deep cover

[/quote]overlord 2 is supposed to be a lot better, however I haven't played it yet. it's a steal for the price they're offering.
