I enjoyed it. I payed $10 a while back for it and thought that was a good price for it.

The game has a great atmosphere to it. Took me about seven to eight hours to complete it my first time. It feels like Stalker, but this is linear and more story based.

Yeah, it runs poorly though. Make sure to turn AA down.

That all depends on what kind of computer you have I guess. I had no problems running it, I just used the lesser AA and turned off Advanced Depth of Field. Although, the game still looks great with lower graphic settings.

It runs better than TF2 for me. But that's because TF2 is more CPU dependent, and Metro 2033 is more GPU dependent.

It's odd, because my computer should be more than capable of running the game at max, but little things like AA and depth of field just obliterate my framerate.

AA is not a "little thing".

Metro 2033 75% off / $4.99 on GamersGate! (Only on sale 4/22/11.)

It's a Steamworks game, so it does work with Steam.

Grabbed it. Activated it in Steam. Thanks for the heads up!

I run it on max settings. looks and runs really well. it's a very interesting game. good singleplayer experience.
Portal 2 is the Amazon deal of the day.  $30 on PC, $35 on consoles. Thinking about snagging a PC copy.

Jumping on the Metro 2033 bandwagon here.

I personally loved it, great atmosphere, awesome gfx, and a great story too. As others said, it's very linear, but it's set in a subway system so that's sort of a given, and quite excusable.

I run the game using only 2xAA (As well as every other game, or no AA) because it's by far one of the hardest things to ask of a GPU, and it runs stable @ vsync.

Serious Sam is the Steam weekend deal.

Anyone got any input on to buy or not?

What's the deal? Because if you haven't played it yet, you should.

Uh, let's see.

Serious Sam: Gold Edition - $9.99

Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter - $3.74

Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter - $4.99

Serious Sam HD: Double Pack - $7.49

No, I have never played any Serious Sam games ever.
In case anyone missed it, SpaceChem is also on sale this week.

Getitgetitgetitgetitgetit I cannot express how good it is.
I'd say yeah, Gold is worth $10, and it's got First and Second encounter in it.
Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition will have a loyalty discount for those who own Street Fighter 4 on Steam. It will also have a 4 pack that has a larger discount. The loyalty discount does not stack with the 4 pack. Discount pricing hasn't been announced yet, but the game will be released at $40. Rumor has it that the 4 pack will cost 100 dollars.
