Mind explaining so we can try to help you?

At first sound did not work and firing a bazooka crashed the game
apparently what happened with me is a quite common issue, a directx update sorts it out

Yeah, backfire had the same problem with the sound thing.
75% off all Company of Heroes titles.
They look interesting, I'm downloading the demo to see what they're like.

Really solid RTS, pretty much Dawn of War with WW2 stuff. So if you liked DoW you'll probably like this and if you didn't you have bad taste in RTS games  :-*
they're better than DoW

I dunno, WWII is cool and all, but I'd rather purge heretics than Huns.

Company of Heroes should be on the must-play list of every RTS fanatic out there, even those tired of WWII settings. It's just that good. [Oct. 2006, p.70]

That's because trenches and gas aren't fun at all.
Eidos UK store has Just Cause 2 for 6.50 Euros, and Arkham Asylum for 7.50 Euros. JC2 will register with Steam.

Edit: Steam's deal of the day is Knights of the Old Republic for $2.50. Deal's gone tomorrow.

I'd like a good Korean or Vietnam War based FPS. Maybe even 1st gulf war.
Knights of the Old Republic is like $3 on steam.  You have no excuse not to get this now.

I want this, but it seems to be a UK-only thing. MUST USE PROXIES

Edit: Proxies aren't working!  :'(
