Pfft, yesterday when I played with Esch, it was 2v2 with 2 advent opponents.  I managed to rush my Vasari to one of their doorsteps in 15 mins before they ragequit.

Granted, it was a tiny map, but don't underestimate the Vasari rush ;P
Sins is a game I've always wanted to try out.

I've just been scared away by the huge time consuming games I hear it has.  I mean I like to waste time playing games as much as the next guy, but I have a big backlog, plenty of thigns I should be working on, and etc Sad

Plus my bf is really wanting me to buy Dawn of War 2 while it's on sale on steam so I can play with him but I've never really cared too much for tactical RTS games plus the above time related issues so Sad

Plus I'm still having a great time with Supreme Commander 2, esp now that I'm getting better at it Sad

Still, Sins for $4 is a steal.  If you have any interest, this would be a great time to pick it up.  Even if you never get around to it, $4 isn't too big of a hit to the wallet.
Does it require impulse (any version of sins gotten from anywhere)?

I'm fairly certain that it does.

Yes, but only to install it, Impulse never needs to run on your machine again after that, just stay installed.
Yeah, its a content delivery system but it's a bit less intrusive than STEAM. Which is good, because it's a whole lot less useful as a matchmaking service, too.
Supreme Commander 2 is $10.99 on sale (already?) on steam this weekend.

I highly reccomend this, it's a fun game if you are an RTS game fan. Just released a patch that adds skirmish saving too :p

Same...
New digital store thing came up and has a code for a free game off of it (ANY GAME). You can even make multiple accounts and get multiple games.

http://greenmangaming.com/

Code: 1FREE-PROMO-WORLD

Enter it at checkout for free game. I got King's Bounty.

Disregard that it doesn't work any more.

I played through Batman for the first time a couple days ago right before the sale. The game controls beautifully with a KB+M. More than beautifully actually. It pretty much has the best controls of any 3rd person punchin' people game I've seen on PC. Looks prettier too. Oh, if you do have an Nvidia card, the PhysX genuinely enhances the atmosphere. Totally worth 20 bucks.
Oblivion GOTY is $8.50 and Morrowind GOTY is $5.00. Both are well worth it.
fo3 goty is $25

btw if you're gonna get morrowind AND oblivion play morrowind first because if you play oblivion and then morrowind you will be eternally confused and will get sick of it and not finish it

Thanks for the heads up.  Grabbed Oblivion.  About time I gave it a chance after being a Morrowind fan back in the day.

The main problem I had with Oblivion is scaling monsters. I think that is just lazy game making. The whole point of an RPG is to feel like you are becoming a badass.
