yeah i was wondering how aoe3 was worth 10 cents

On the other hand I played for around 20 minutes this morning and had fun. I paid $0.10 for 20 minutes of fun. This is a good deal.

i paid $60 for mw2 and got at least 300 hours of fun out of it, which is a better deal

[/quote]AEIII, by about ten cents per hour.  Plus if he ever gets more fun of it past this initial twenty minutes, the value will increase exponentially until it will eventually come close to zero cents per hour of fun at a much faster rate than BLOPS.

10c for 20 minutes = 30c/hour
$60 for 300 hours = 20c/hour

Okay, so your game out values his at a current rate of one fifth of a cent (rounded) per minute.  He plays for ten more minutes he's on par value wise, and if he manages to achieve one hour of fun with it, it will take you another three hundred hours or so to reach the same value.

but...but...age of empires 3. that is asking for a lot.

I played AoE III on my mac for two months and got bored when I tried AoE II.

I kinda like 3 though... and I have played 2, it's alright but there's a lot more resources to worry about.

Direct2Drive is price matching other digital distribution stores this holiday. And Gamestop wonders why PC gamers don't give a shit about them.

I actually impulse bought something on the internet that isn't a woot shirt.

AoE III better be worth $.1

Might help if they had more than a quarter shelf of PC games anywhere from 1995-2010.


Though, I did pick up Penumbra Black Plague there for $5 a while back, so can't say they're complete crap (just mostly).

The last time I bought PC games from gamestop was at an EB games right after they got bought out and decided to hemorrhage out their pc stuff for like $5 or less. Apparently Wedge did the same

Edit2: And it may be wise for a couple people to spring on some of the cheaper hyper bundles to use as contest prizes for BRBU. Oh, and yu didn't hear it from me, but Just Cause 2 may have an 8 pack in the coming days. It is about as worth it as worth it gets.
