Heavy weapons guy is usually too busy dealing with a suicidal Pyro, an airborn Soldier, and a nade-spamming Demo to turn around and see if there is a Spy creeping up if he hears no sounds of medics dying to cue him in to just how fucked he is.

With everything else blaring in your ear and hold your attention, having that rather unique death scream is an auditory cue to turn the fuck around. Not having that...
Well, let me put it in easy terms; hats are nothing. Spies getting blatantly buffed update after update are what is killing Team Fortress 2. You take it to a whole other level with your inescapable backstab bullshit, which only solidified making me quit, but Spy should not be getting these kinds of items. He's now the most invincible piece of paper imaginable and I can only bet next update he's going to get something ridiculous like a replacement for his Sapper that reflects bullets when he deploys it, or probably some cross-promotion with Dota 2 where he can blink behind whoever he's looking at.
