Yeah you kinda have to ward if they have an annoying jungler. And since wards now stack up to 5 in one slot, if you experience ganky annoyances you have no excuse.
Also Rammus isn't that powerful. Annoying, yes, but people tend to get that confused with OP.

Only half the solution, sadly. I've yet to run into a premade that isn't counter warding. Fuck me, even played one where the Rammus oracle'd and didn't give a shit. He played the money-manipulation meta game. Most of my experience is against pre-mades now, I suppose it's different in you solo/2/3 queuing.

We ran a lot of premades. Most of which are mixed between good and bad.
The last game was really good. I love steal their buffs as Jungle Shen.
Sure that stuff will counter him but that will counter any cc. If you're just looking at tanks he is by far the best, he has great chasing/initiating/escaping ability with his powerball, Defensive curl means he can be more tanky than any other champion(also means he can do surprisingly decent auto attack damage), his taunt is by far the best of all the tanks(it's ranged lasts 3 secs and reduces armor wtf), even his ult does decent damage and is great for pushing towers. As far as tanks go I'd say rammus is op, if not then all other tanks are slightly underpowered  :p

First to be DQ'd in Draft Mode, don't need to say much more. I main Malph as my tank, and he's usually second to be DQ'd
As far as Shen, dude needs a better regen system. Dash>Feint>Vorpal>Feint>OH SHI- no energy.
the thing with rammus is, even though his powerball got nerfed, he still has one of the best escape ability in the game, and it is also one of the best ganking utilities due to it's high mobility
also, if you don't ward you are shit anyway

I think that's the point lag was trying make  :p Anyways I can still rape with pantheon but the change to his burst means that even though I can go 22-4-12 I still don't feel he can really carry as well as he used to.  His early game has just been nerfed too hard I think. I switched to using tristana as my main ad carry anyways.

idk if i like tristana, her ult and her jump should only be used to escape, and her explosive shot is only good for farming and you end up pushing the lane with it if you skill it up before pushing phase. however her range is quite nice late game and with her utility she can get out of the action pretty easily if she needs to. could probably take ghost ignite or ghost exhaust with her and shut down healers during teamfights.
So, I managed to beat my third ranked game.
Ranked is a bit too easy.

7-4 ranked game W:L ratio, it's been sorta dodgy as far as the enemy teams go. Faced plenty of really good teams that had good team comp and coordination, but I've also faced people who probably don't know what the mini map is. I think our little bunch just needs more practice working as a group and we can probably roll most people.
Going to actually buy Singed with my IP so that I can learn how to use him, since most of the time Shen is banned :|.
