you are naturally bulky, the skill instantly offs, AND free MS buff after deactivation, he looks op as fuck just from the spotlight and he's not overleveled

anyways riven is the most fun i've had with any champ in this game

yeah i just watched the spotlight and it's totally different from what I thought it was going to be.
i don't like how they made that ability. I think it should have been a gradual increase in speed up to regular speed after de-activation. not an instant boost.

needless to say i found my new ap carry, just need to buy the proper runes

Fids fear needs a nerf so bad. Raise everything else, just nerf that CC.

locus of power does somehow take skill to use
spells pretty easy to dodge but he is abusive early on

If there is anything that will make me stop playing this game it is CC. Such a bad design choice, I'd be happier if it was removed form the game entirely.

It's stupid that you have to do this. Why have any other boots if those are the only ones worth getting.

if there's anything that would make me quit this game it is damage. such a shitty game mechanic. I would prefer that we all gather in mid and throw skittles at each other until we all fart rainbows.

This is a stupid thing to say. Damage is necessary CC is not. Slows and snares are fine but stuns and fears are shit. Actually removing the ability of a person to play the game they are trying to play is shit. I've seen many discussions about this mechanic and I think the consensus is it's shit. I remember valve saying it was shit. You play a game to play the game, not watch helplessly while you die. It unbalances the game and takes skill out of it. I can think of several team compositions that can keep players from playing in a teamfight for roughly 10 seconds, most without a combo or a skillshot. That means that the most skilled player can't play during teamfights.

I want to actually be able to play the game, so what does that mean I have to be the second best to the worst player so I can actually play?

no offense but anyone who says cc is a poor design mechanic hasn't played many games or done any sort of game design

Dota had some CC as well.

As I recalled, it was mainly stuns and slows that I remembered from the few times that I played it.

The problem with LoL is that it is a casual game, which means the following:

No denying (which means quicker laning phases)
Quicker games
Different levels of skill from player to player
Team fights occur a lot sooner

Everybody can use CC, knowing how to use that CC is considered to be skill.

Quicksilver Sash is off CD more often than you think.
