Yeah my game has crashed about 20 times and the 3 times I actually got in I couldn't do anything but walk around and shoot my gun. Everything else didn't work.

Goddamnit I want my money back.

On the bright side I have confirmed the existence of both antivehicle mines for engineers and antimine armor for tanks.
Was sent to a stream of PS2, someone was giving out codes, so I got lucky and snagged one, so I'll be in the last batch of the beta people I guess. Gotta love random stuff like that Big Grin
Any chance at some cert tree spoilers?

There really aren't cert trees so much as sequential unlocks that boost the same thing.  For example you could get a cert that improves how much fuel your light assault jetpack gets, and it has five levels that can be repeated.  At least at this stage in the game certs aren't required to unlock weapons/vehicles but are used to unlock customization options like scopes/flashlights or tools that a class doesn't start with.  Thanks to most things having five or so series of certs it's probably gonna be a good idea to specialize since there are dozens of certs per class/vehicle/weapon.  Next time I'm on I'll take some screenshots.

The explanation is deeply appreciated, as will the ss's. I'm really still uncertain on what role I'd like to into; the more information available, the sounder decision made. Ergo, a longer lasting and more satisfactory experience with the game. This is how I do MMO's. Min/max until spreadsheets bleed.
When are the basic beta key folks supposed to be getting into the game? I thought my friend said it was supposed to be today, but no invite in the mail yet.

And as of today neither print screen nor Fraps are working for screenshots.  Print screen just takes a pic of my desktop behind the planetside window.  Sorry bro.  If it's any consolation I expect they'll be changing shit up a lot between now and release, so it's not like I could give you great information.
Is this game working yet? The few times I tried, I either bluescreened, crashed to desktop or joined a server only to see more people sitting around then Ragnarok Online.
It's still fairly borked. THe lag is mostly fixed for me but framerate is still a big concern.

Ive barely gotten to mess with it, but this is very disconcerning, especially considering the level of customization you got in the first game. I do not want battlefield classes.

Same, I played for a bit yesterday. Lag/FPS wise its much better but still pretty bad. I was able to actually get a kill though. Spawning from a galaxy can be a problem if you don't have a jetpack. Main problem being you die if it's too high in the air.
the game is gpu/cpu intensive on top of it not being planetside at all  :'(

If you mean the priority keys given out on Twitter/Facebook, I read somewhere that it'll be about 2-3 weeks after PS1 subscribers get in. So in about 2 weeks.

Scored a key from Nvidia of all places.

NC? VS? Does it even matter?

Dont think so for now, conformation from anyone on faction switching? I haven't even had time to play yet
Everyone so far is vs, but currently you can switch. Not sure if that will be live as well.

The Dual scatter cannon on the NC max is by far the most amazing and OP item in game.  I suggest you all try it before it gets nerfed..    Click, click boom!
