Would that mean it would fly like Planetside 1 aircraft as opposed to the actual flight model other empire aircraft will use?

They announced that a while ago, I think they might be taking a LoL Style approach -> Purchase Cert Points or Play for BEP to level up "normally"
That inherently doesn't unbalance anything with the way PS1 worked at least.
