Thats why they keep doing it. Maybe not because they want to but because it makes money and its proven to work. To be honest the most fun i had in an mmo was way back when i played wow, and more recently was guild wars 2. The f2p model can make a good mmo, but its going to fall short every time.

Planetside has had so many problems. The development at this point is like the blind leading the blind.

You have a company notorious for ramping down support after launching an MMO and a creative team that only focuses on playing/trying one aspect of the game :|

Everyone has some serious stockholm shit going on thinking SOE will ever be any different (self included). Maybe if Smed ever gets dumped, but until then there will be no change to culture.

Duck, Duck, Goose

Sad because this game was the most fun I've had since TF2...
Smed needs to go for sure.  there's still nothing comparable to Planetside's MMO experience .      I have no problem logging into this game with y'all, calling out targets and focusing on them.      That in itself is a truly enjoyable experience.    winter is upon us so I would assume you folks will have more time for weekend raping's.    ;D

I've been on mini hiatus because I finally decided to get off my ass and start working out after work!

I will be playing some this weekend, tho...  Hope to see some of you on!
Would like to do some dick ops tonight, nothing but the most troll shit we can think of, patch up fuckers

Wasn't exactly how I figured things would play out, but they worked well I think. Interdicting at the gate caused much butthurt to be had.

Yeah great "shenanigans" way to end up actually play the game by being the decisive factor in pushing the NC to their warpgate nice job.

Its still pad camping, still shenanigns
Personally, I HATE stamina for movements in games.  I much prefer massive negative accuracy modifiers and the inability to fire while doing certain actions.

Stamina in games is fine as long as it gives you some indicator for your stamina rather than making you guess. Dark souls, star ocean, and bf2 did it well.
In a game like ps2 where you can be running around a lot on foot you're better off without it
Computer is officially unfucked. PS2 looks fucking fantastic on the new rig.
12/18 Patch notes: https://forums.station.sony.com/ps2/inde...18.210014/

The bug fix section looks long enough that I will probably try to make some time to play this weekend.

(Granted, the list of introduced bugs is probably going to be far longer than this...  I WANT TO BELIEVE IN FUN/FIXED GAME!!!)
Yes, but is fun patched back in?

Essentials for PS2: a squad with mumble, hapless pubbie minions, booze, dear leader yelling
We patch in our own fun.
I played for several hours this weekend and enjoyed myself.  Minor rage inducement, but nothing I wouldn't blame on the fact that I am playing a computer simulated space war with thousands of people across the world.

The game feels pretty good, which I proportionately blame on the fact that I got a GTX 970 for my birthday present to myself last month and any sort of code that SoE shat out.
