Oh and here is something for all you people in Florida....

Wow, lot of good those guns did them b)

sounds like they waited and grabbed her as she was walking in the door. Not a lot you can do if you're outside the house and the guns are inside the house.

This is why I always have my Gerber on me.
Mine's got a nice Matte black blade though, and it's like 5 years old.

Gotta love a good pocket knife (although I can't take it to some places in the District)
Mine:

I carry this.
In bigger cities though, I play it safe and just carry a stockman. That's a bit less iffy in legality.
you would carry a butterfly knife merc
Believe it or not, I had one before I tried TF2. When I saw that a character actually used one, I swapped from scout to play as spy.

One of these:
As well as a BuckTool and a Buck Adrenaline folding lockback.
Wow, whatever class that is for, really loves the temporal and parietal lobes. No Love for Occipital, with one label. Yeah guys, the complex vision centers of the brain deserve to be lumped all together... sure.
amirite?
I just keep that in the backpack, you never know

I couldn't have said it better, sir.
Man, butterfly knives are illegal here
p sure they're illegal most places
also getting into a knife fight is really dumb and if you ever actually did you would probably die

That's a shame. Doing tricks on them never gets old. You could possibly purchase a training balisong, I believe that would be fine to carry in Canada, as they lack a proper cutting edge.
Also, correct me if I am wrong, a bit rusty on knife laws in other country's, but I thought you could keep one at your home, just not in public.
