I'm sober and have been for 20 years. Yep.. still sober.  Big Grin

Well I hope thats your own choice and not because of some D.A.R.E propaganda.  I have no problem with people choosing to be "straight edge" but I hate when they believe that they might become spouse abusers/homeless/etc because of alcohol or drugs.
I can understand this, although I'd say those that have a family history of alcoholism or otherwise come from abusive households have more than enough reason to never start drinking in the first place.

intriguing.
I got a little bit shit-faced at the cabin. We got a nice sample case of all the Mike's Hard stuff and me, HeK and Crystal had some drinks.
I normally dislike Mike's Hard because a) it's a girly cooler and b) one time in high school I accidentally too much lemonade and puked it all up and now the thought of drinking it makes me queasy. HOWEVER, they have LIME-flavoured Mike's! It was pretty good for a girly drink.

If you want something that doesn't taste as girly, try the Mike's Harder Lemonade (in cans). It's got a higher alcohol content and isn't quite as sweet (+larger volume can than the bottles == much faster to noshirt-oclock). I'm not a huge fan of regular Mike's but I really like the Cranberry Lemonade.

I don't typically drink beer, so Mike's is like my training wheels. It's not nearly as sweet as a wine cooler but not as beer-y as hard cider. I'm a fan.

I was put on Rittlin when I was younger. Rittlin is pretty much a nerfed version of "speed" they give to children do to hyper activity of lack of concentration. I was given it because I did poorly in school, it later turned out the reason I did poorly in school was because I learn by actually doing something and not reading about it (s'why I suck at math, there is nothing to actually DO, it's just arbitrary, busy work/numbers).

The rittlin cuased my conscience (as a staying affect) to only really affect me at night. So if I fuck up, or do something embarrassing, it all comes crashing down on me when I try to go to sleep rather then at that moment. I made a pledge with my self I would never do anything that FUCKED with the way my brain functioned ever again.

Someone was talking about this on vent while playing PS the other day. Looks good, I'll have to see if I can get my paws on some.

I usually drink Bacardi Gold or Bacardi 151, but lately I've been drinking DonQ Cristal, which mixes a little better. I definitely think I'm more of a dark rum fan than a light rum fan, although I don't really like Captain Morgan or Sailor Jerry's at all.

rumsfald

^ That was me. I almost killed mine.
Duvel is good
I've been trying just about any beer I can find on tap while I've been in Ireland. So far my normal drinking rotation usually consists of at least two out of these three: Bulmers, Smithwick's, and Galway Hooker. Bulmers is a cider and it really has turned me on to cider. I'll definitely have to find some kind of cider when I get back to the States. I hear Woodchuck is supposed to be pretty good. Smithwick's is a very mild red/pale ale that uses roasted barley and is my drink of choice right now if I'm not feeling very adventurous for a particular night. Galway Hooker is a really bitter pale ale, but there's something oddly pleasing about the bitterness.
You entirely missed the point. I don't give two shits about whether or not it comes in cans or is considered bitch beer, I was pointing out that the Mike's HardER Lemonade (which happens to come in cans) is a different product and is much more potent than the normal Mike's Hard Lemonade (which happens to come in bottles).

Don't be hatin'.

I'm not surprised that I missed the point. Teaching high school kids for a week causes me to lose brain cells. Which means I'm going to be fucking retarded in a month.

you can get smithwick's on draft in quite a few places around here... can you not elsewhere? guess its nice to live in boston? Smile

Also my friend like magnar's cider... personally I don't at all, but he lived in Ireland for a year and would mostly drink cider... so maybe you can try that one.. sold in bottles in most large package stores
i might as well say that smirnoff ice is the king(queen?) of bitch beers

I can no longer drink that shit.

Last time I had it I went to a party when I was already feeling like shit, had the flu; I drank a case of four in about thirty minutes and then I was in the bathroom, throwing up with my pants down when some retarded chick walked in on me (I didn't have the sense of mind to lock the door).

Never again.
i feel left out

i can't drink beer because i'm allergic to hops, and i've never wanted to try birch beers

I've always loved that story. I mean, as far as drunken stories go, that's pretty awesome.
