Doesn't taste as good.
I really should get drunk today, to celebrate the fact that I really shouldn't.
Its friday, parents went to the cabin for the weekend and ive got about 80 bones for booze. Its probably too good of a scenario for anything to actually happen Sad

I have always been a fan of Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout, but I just found the Pale Ale at a bar tonight and it's PRETTY FREAKIN' GOOD.
Samuel Smith's is quality. Nut brown ale is also very tasty.

Oatmeal Stout is easily one of my favs. On a completely unrelated note has anyone tried Scaldis?

Hard to argue for a better stout. Old Taddy Porter is also a winner (but what from Sam Smith is bad?)
My favorite stout is still Brooklyn Brewery's Dark Chocolate Stout. :X

Voodoo's Big Black Voodoo Daddy is a close second, followed by Alesmith's Speedway Stout.

I like my stouts a little harsher so Oatmeal's aren't my favorite ... But Sam Smith's Outmeal Stout is sooo smooth.
Also, Stoudt's Fat Dog and Anderson Valley's Barney Flats Oatmeal Stout are both very good and smoooooth!

Why isn't this on the beer thread. Sad

You need to try some Weyerbacher stouts.

Because I started this discussion when I was drinking...
There's a microbrew near me that sells a vanilla stout. Deep rich texture with a light vanilla aftertaste. It's good stuff.

was gonna go sober for a week, but my sleep schedule has been creeping 1-2 hours a day because of it, and I have to travel to Philly tomorrow for a weekend job (buying $100k in lottery tickets LOL). Hopefully I can wake up earlier than yesterday, which ended up being 6pm
