My buddy left me half a quart of Patron Gold. I'm afraid to drink it because of how expensive it is.
Oh that, and its fucking tequila

Drink it. Gold isn't as smooth as silver, but its a higher quality (?) tequila. I think they just age it more.
Room temp, do shots.
Friend of a friend visited Mountain View from Google UK and we went out to dinner at Los Charros Restaurant which has live mariachi music every Friday night. They have a tequila bar with 200 different tequilas.
He ordered several shots. One of them was Patron Platinum. $45 for a shot.
I was privileged enough to be offered a sip. That was like no other tequila. It didn't taste like burnt sugar or like the inside of a barrel and there was no afterburn. I would like a bottle -- someday -- but I need to pay down some debt first.

Yeah, it's the real deal. CountrY threw $50 at a fifth of silver yesterday. We drank half the bottle doing shots.
I like it more than Captain Morgan's Private Stock.
If you like spiced rum, make yourself some
Mama Juana. It's good shit. Also, the longer you let it steep in the herbs/spices, the smoother it gets.

My buddy left my roommates and I a 1/5 of a 26 of Patron Gold. Thats the really expensive stuff no?

Silver - $50, Gold - $110, Platinum - $170
This of course is what the Patron offers, and don't represent how tequilas are classified and sold in general. Usually Tequilas are Blanco, Reposado, and Anejo. (white, rested, aged).

Yeah Patron just puts fancy names on them, it's all the same though.
Gotta say, I've had all three and I'm glad that Silver/Blanco tequila is the cheapest because IMHO it tastes the best haha

It's Cinco de Mayo and I have to work, at a Mexican restaurant, selling $3 burritos, with a concert going on that will draw several thousand people to the mall.

.5 oz Spiced Rim
.5 oz Coconut Rum
.5 oz Blue Curacao
.5 oz Melon liqueur
12 oz pineapple juice and a splash of sweet & sour mix
It's some good shit. I might be biased.
Patron Silver, lime, salt, and tomorrow off work
