a little late, but I've been kind of busy. So, I was so drunk last night, I think I was drunk this morning. At 7 am when I left the hotel I could barely walk straight, at 9am I was literally sprinting with loaded M4 and M9 through Close Quarters Marksmanship lanes.Â
I put two 5.56 rounds through a hostage silhouette's head at 30 meters. We all laughed. Â
My life is awesome sometimes.

college buddy's wedding last night... we started drinking for it on Thursday night...
afterward the reception hall kicked us out, we went to a bar (including the bride and groom). Â I wore my dress blues to the wedding, when I walked into the bar, a Vietnam Era Sergeant (he was a combat engineer too- one of my people! Â fucking awesome) called the bar to attention and gave me the greeting of the day.
Had a few glasses of wine with my mom before dinner.
