It's like a fucking scout bat.
Commandant's social this evening.  We were literally ambushed by the battalion commander when he stuck his bald head into a group of us (I mean, like a fucking cartoon character around a corner, all the sudden there was a LTC head and chest, parallel to the floor, around the body of an LT)and said "did someone say something about uniforms?"  And then drunkenly lectured us on the uniform tradition and history, that we already knew.  And then the Commandant admonished us for not drinking enough.  Sapper Stakes starts at 0430 tomorrow, that first 2 miles of the ruck is going to be a bruiser.
my power went out so i decided to drink all my beer before it went warm.

It is only made better by the greatest of all guilty pleasures, whiskey and the season premiere of Law and Order: criminal intent

Same shit, different tuesday.  Add the exit of Vincent D from criminal intent, and an awesome episode of Justified, and i'm far more drunk that one should on a tuesday, but i always am.

Had this  [Image: dead-guy-ale-label.jpg]...which apparently had 9.5 ABV

Also had a Black and Blue...Guinness mixed with Bluemoon..it was so damn good.
