A dark-as-fuck bourbon barrel aged Russian imperial stout.

Strong bourbon nose with a roasted chocolate finish.

Oh dear I threw up a lot. I'm kinda embarrased I did this in front of my friens b7t at6 the same time I'm proud that I know what my limit is now.

Too much milk. Pretty much any milk or cream included drinks don't sit well with 'heavy' drinking.
Try a Black Russian tho, officially 3:2 vodka:Kahlua over ice, I generally go with the inverse.

We were doing fine with the white actually. It was my choice of food plus a few shots of vodka; not a wise idea. I'm definitely doing white russians again, just knowing that it's more alcohol than the tastiness claims.
stop.  listen to Hek.  Don't mix diary in your heavy drinking.
I love to see people pursuing one of my favourite pastimes: trying to talk sense to Karth and believing he will listen.

It seems the only time I can experience the atmosphere I look for in a bar is if I go to it during an off-day, like tonight. If you live in a university town like me good luck finding a nice quiet place for a drink on a weekend if you don't like your thoughts being pushed forcibly out of your skull by shitty rap and dance music or yelling machismo douche bags / self-important douchettes.
There's always a quiet hole in the wall.  If it was easy to find, it wouldn't exist.

While that may be true, my willingness to go there is inversely proportionate to it's distance from me.
Every dive in this town is full of crack heads, and if it isn't I'd be severely upsetting the balance of the 10-15 regulars that frequent it.
hey karf go buy a bottle of rumchata you're welcome

come out by me bro. you don't even wanna know what breed of regulars we have out here.

and no i don't actually recommend you come out here it's awful
every bar in town where i live is quiet like you're describing.
Sister encouraged me to do a beer tasting, so I indulged. I tried an oat stout,
IPA, a brown ale, an amber, and a wheat ale.

Loved the brown ale and the wheat, couldn't do the oat or the IPA.

They're out there, trust me. You're just going to have to do some old fashioned exploring. No GMaps, no Yelp. Ask around, do some digging.

see, that's how you end up on the karma train again.

Also, Helix was good enough to point out that I misspelled "dairy" on the last page. -.-;
