iunno about this though. mmos really have lost their appeal for me, i probably wont play it past the beta (i signed up for that shit months ago)

yeah i played that a while ago with some goons, got bored pretty quickly since literally everyone camps spawns and there is nothing you can do
if sega's smart, they should just shut down the project, but buy the code and hire on the team to make all 2D Sonic games. But they're not. Yuji Naka (creator of Sonic and an old-school Sega employee) is even on record saying the fan remix looks 256 times better than Sonic 4
SUPER CRATE BOX
This is how you make a highscore game. The music is also wonderful.

And that DogFighter game on Steam will be having a sale on Monday for $1.50. Using my super powers of deduction, I think the four pack will be $4.50.

Aww I felt alright about buying it for like $5. It's got kinda touchy controls though

For me, MMO's have lost their appeal, just cause they are all the same anymore.  Just constant fantasy ones that is just the same sword fighting and magic or something futuristic/scifi like Star Trek or the upcoming Star Wars one (Which I still might play), but you don't really see any MMO's that would be like this Fallout one could be, being fictional, but at least on earth and a more grounded experience.

I just hope it isn't too much like the original Fallout's style other than story stuff.  I gave them both a try around when Fallout 3 was out and just didn't care for those games at all.

yeah, fo1 and 2 have the worst combat system on earth, that shit is borderline unplayable

Because fallout is _NOT_ about combat, and that's the piece they forgot about in 3, the beauty of 1/2 is you can go through the entire game without killing anything, at all, but 3? Herp derp FPS, go shoot everything  :-\

problem being a ton of combat is unavoidable unless you're super careful and planned beforehand, 3 was bad sure, it's got post-morrowind writing by bethesda for chrissakes, but the combat works fine and is very playable. Fo1/2 are incredibly frustrating to play (atleast to me) even with a retardedly powerful build, if just for how slow and boring the inevitable combat is.
ATI graphics cards can now use Morphological AA. This method of AA is merely a post-process effect so barely gives your framerate a hit at all while still providing very good image quality. It can also be mixed with traditional AA methods for better effect. However, it isn't perfect because since it is just a post-process effect, it will apply itself to things like 2D menus as well, possibly making things like text look less sharp. This method of AA was most famously put to use in God of War 3, and eventually LittleBigPlanet 2, as the PS3 couldn't give acceptable image quality with traditional AA methods typically seen on the PC. It does look pretty nice, I have to say.

Karf should probably look at this, you know, assuming he wants the first episode of Telltale's Back to the Future game free.

BC2 is getting a BC1 map pack  soon and will be detailed tomorrow sometime.  For those that ocassionally still play BC2 like I do, I'm interested.  Harvest Day is the one known map so far.  Might actually pull me from Call of Duty for alittle bit lol
