Steam is diversifying their catalog a bit. Universe Sandbox is now available on Steam. I remember playing with this awhile back and having a lot of fun with the simulations. It is very likely I will purchase this, what is essentially a gravity simulator, on Steam.

Wasn't this free? I remember something extremely like this I downloaded and messed around with for a bit.

It had a trial.
So once again we go another year with no episode 3 news. Valve says they aren't attending E3. It's probably too poor for them.

I heard it was because hats weren't going to be mandatory.

Valve rarely does anything important at E3. Gamescom might be different. If anything we'll get Dota 2 information there.
Rumored Japan themed Magicka DLC coming.
Assassins Creed 2's $10 today...

Willing to trade hats and/or what ever spare potatoe/valve game gifts I have left for it!

Do they still have that insane DRM on it? Otherwise I'm not interested.

Nope, they turned it off back in January.

[/quote]I'm looking around, and it seems like it's still there in a scaled-down form.

Edit: Ehhhh...I think I'll pass on this. Ubisoft isn't known for great ports and the DRM (whatever's left of it) doesn't sound worth it. Plus, I can just rent it for free on my PS3.

The game is still insanely repetitive.  It's better than AC1 on that regard but still I was only playing the last 10 hours to be able to say I finished it.  And then the ending made me regret that decision.

There, no ridiculous DRM for SSF4 for PC. Tongue
DRM makes me want to pirate something more than something without.

'specially SecuROM shit.

Well, they're removing it in a day 1 patch, at least.
Yeah, happy about AE, though I'll probably try to get a retail copy so I don't have to bother with Steam offline mode as well.

Also GOG announced they have access to EA's catalogue, minus System Shock and Syndicate.
EA has removed Crysis 2 from Steam. Do not expect future EA releases to appear on Steam.

Edit: But in other news, if EA really is trying to play hardball with Steam, I expect really great things from Steam's summer sale as retaliation.

They tried this once before and it failed horribly. I don't see why they think they can just rebrand EADM and expect things to actually work this time.

Fixed that for you. Smile

What happens to the people who bought Crysis 2 on Steam?

Plenty of games have been removed from Steam. If you bought it, you can still download it. Hell, some people own The Movies from Lionhead on Steam.

This time they happen to have Battlefield 3. That kind of sucks because irrational Steam loyalty limits one's options to MW3.

Edit: Well, I guess the'll be removing it from other stores too then.
