VVVVVV is getting a big update soon. Here is the impressive new features list.

-Full mod tools included!
-Custom levels by Mojang Specification’s Notch!
-A reworked engine, using native C++ instead of Flash. Should run much faster, and “runs on even utterly rubbish systems and ones with no dedicated gpu”!
-Enhanced resolution support and options!
-Proper save files, so clearing your flash cache won’t delete your saves!
-Bonus Analogue graphics mode!
-!

It's also part of the Humble Indie Bundle #3 happening right now. The bundle version supposedly already has all of these new features, but other services will get them soon.

Did you just comment in three different threads in a row with questions of like five words each?

I might wait till I hear more from someone on it.  Are the controls better in the main game or are they just as badly designed as the demo? I could possibly try getting a controller hooked up, but I'd rather just simply play it with my mouse.  Also is it a pretty straightforward game or is there fun side stuff to try and accomplish or find?
Meh, bought Chantelise anyways.  Aside from badly needing to buy myself a controller, cause I can't use my 360 controller and couldn't get my PS3 controller to work, it's a cute game.  You run through different areas of a ruin, needing to kill all the badguys to open the door to the next area.  Don't really have any complaint in particular, other than it's a tad annoying for badguys to be able to attack and damage through my attacks.  I don't to be invincible, but baddies love to attack while I'm hitting them hurt me and there is no real way to block the attack, so they get in alot of cheap shots, especially with the game using 2D sprites and depth becomes an issue.

One other thing is that there are baddies that require magic to kill them.  What happens when you run out of magic? You can't kill them.  Combine that with enemies that will blow up if you kill them, so they require magic...There's not enough magic to kill things with! it is nice that once you beat an area and you die, you don't have to beat all the enemies again to pass and you keep all treasure, so that if you get killed, you can sell your loot and buy some new items and health increasers.

Vandamguy

Xpadder doesn't work with a wireless controller if you don't have the reciever for it and didn't work with my PS3 controller, even going about using ANOTHER program on top of Xpadder to try and get it working.  I'll probably just see about getting myself a cheapo 20 dollar pc controller somewhere.  I got the keyboard set up  so that it's not too bad to play, but my right wrist starts to get sore using the arrow keys to maneuver the camera around.

The skeletons keep droping magic gems as you keep hitting em. After clearing out a bunch of enemies, I often just farm the skelies for specific combos of gems before I finish em off and move on. You can also just equip a water stone which gives your sword an element of magic so you can just knock em down as normal. As for the flying bomb things, either make sure you always have at least one non-earth gem on you, otherwise just take the blow and hope you can find 3 water gems later on (after you gain the ability to use 3 gems, a combo of 3'll heal you.)
Really? I was wailing on a skeleton guy and he wasn't dropping any gems, hrmm...I'll get back into it though. I  mostly just brought up the flying exploding guy, cause when your down below ten health and you have no gems to kill him, you can't just go in there and start smacking him with your sword lol
Borderlands 2 was announced. Information will show up on this page. Eventually.

id and Bethesda have updated many of their games to have Steam Cloud support, so your saves will now be kept in the cloud for easy access. No more fumbling around with Oblivion saves! The Elder Scrolls, Doom, Quake, Hexen, Heretic, Commander Keen, and Wolfenstein games were updated.

Small news, but very welcome.
Trackmania 2 has got a new gameplay video. All signs point to this game being incredible.
