After 30 years in development, the Bulletstorm PC demo has finally released. Let's see if anybody still cares.
So hey, TF2's now $10 and the Orange Box is now $20. Pretty interesting or something

Valve Releasing Mysterious Images

I would like it to be Half-Life related, but I won't get my hopes up. :-\
We can all hope for it to be Half-Life related, either a full 3 or an Episode 3 lol

It's EP3, valve has stated more than once that this is the end of the Half-Life story arc, and that there will not be a Half-Life 3.

Dreading and anticipating the release because of that.

This will be an event that requires installing Half-Life, HL2, HL2:EP1 and HL2:EP2 and replaying them all over in order before launching EP3

not sure if want
Eh, I was never that blown away by Half-Life, especially the first one.  I'm looking forward to the conclusion of the series, but after I'm done with Episode 3, it'll probably be the last time I play Half-Life 2 unless something comes up lol

Were you gaming when it was originally released and was groundbreaking and the pinnacle of awesome?

All I want Valve to do in the wake of the Episode 3 release is to put the Half-Life 2 games on a newer version of Source that supports level streaming and let me play through them all without switching games. I want to have a seamless experience from waking up at City 17 to whatever goes down at the Borealis. That will be the ultimate gaming experience for me.

Not for Half-Life 1.  I played it a couple years later, so the shine it had wasn't there.  I was there for Half-Life 2 at launch, but was not blown away in the slightest.  I liked the playthrough I did, but I don't hold it nearly in as high of regard as some do.
Now Portal 2, can't wait to play that Big Grin

I don't want to watch it because I don't want to spoil anything but I want to watch is because Portal 2.

HHHHHHHNNNNNNNNNNGHHHH
Maxon can be amazed by Half-Life 1 like we all will when Black Mesa Source comes out. I mean, Duke Nukem is coming out, so that HAS to come out. Also there aren't really any spoilers in that co-op vid, it's just the tutorial and a quick glimpse at the hub pretty much.
A prettier version of Half-Life 1 isn't going to impress me much lol

The other two more recent sources I can find are 404's now, here's the 1st statement they made on it.

They re-hashed that sentiment at the last E3 when everyone was all like "omg is Episode 3 the big Valve E3 secret?!"

I know they officially said that Ep. 3 is the end of the arc, but I think they also said it's not the end of the franchise.

Once Gordon's story is told, Half-Life will most likely be over. But anyway, that article said nothing about Episode 3 ending the series. Also, I liked the part where he says making HL3 flat out would take 6 years, and the episodes aren't even complete after almost 7.

It's not just going to be a prettier version though, it's also going to modernize the gameplay. It's a complete redesigning of HL1 in every sense, not just graphics.
