New The Thing isn't a remake. It's a prequel to the 1982 movie.
Paranormal Activity was bad.

And no number of sequels will make it better.

At least one sequel had more action and less douchebag carrying a camera around.

Or stop those assholes from trying.

My hate for paranormal activity got personal when I found out it took Mad Max 2: Road Warrior's title of highest profit to budget ratio.

From Dusk Till Dawn was pretty good, aside from Tarantino writing himself a mary sue.
Watched the new Pirates movie and it wasn't too bad.  Not as good as the previous one which packed alot more of a punch, but still entertaining to watch.  At least it didn't have bloom and whatsherface in it.  Never particularly enjoyed their characters, though their sort of replacements weren't any better.

I would much rather stare at Keira Knightley for 2 hours than Penelope Cruz.
Re-watched Eternal Sunshine on a Spotless Mind.

*Manly tears*

I need to see that again. I hated Elijah Wood's character in it, but I feel like I'm overlooking something.
Watched Evil Ed tonight. Starts off really strong as a funny horror-spoof but it lost steam half-way through. Shame. Couldn't really recommend it, but if you want to check it out, it's on Netflix Instant.

Evil Ed- Beaver rape scene
I don't think the second half was done by the same crew. The lighting, storyline, mood, genre and characters all changed.
The Fly was really good, holy crap.

^this. Tied with Horror of Dracula (Peter Cushing / Christopher Lee) for favorite horror movie.
