you're too young to appreciate. people love their retro goggles

that said i think it's a fantastic film
Chinatown was really good, even though the ending was a bit of a let-down.
Equilibrium was good but I thought gun-fu a little silly.

Bueller didn't impress me when I saw it, but Airplane stands up really well still.
Airplane was amazing.

I am glad.
I must be the only person who loved Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

I learned how to make the dripping sound effect like Cameron because of that movie and used to do it during exams all the time.

Hey man, I liked it. There's actually some conspiracy theory that thinks Ferris and his girlfriend are all by-products of Cameron's imaginations or something.

That being said, I just watched Perfume for a school project. DON'T.

I don't know how to teach you. I taught a friend once (with two people doing it in the same class from across the room during a test is priceless) but I don't even really know how I taught him.

You are SOL.

[/quote]I can do it too. There really is no way to teach it over the internet, it's hard enough to teach in real-life.

OH YES that's right.

Well, I'm still not teaching anyone else.
I went and saw Book of Eli last night. AWESOME movie
Just got back from Edge of Darkness. First thoughts? Really good. If there's one thing i must warn you about, it's that the movie is NOT what the trailers make it out to be. It's a detective film, not a popcorn action flick.

But that's not the cool part. Before the movie started, we got free passes to a movie screening on Wednesday. Only problem.
Usher: "We are giving out free movie passes!"
Me: "For what film, you kind handsome devil?"
Usher: "That's classified."

All I know is that it's an Action-Adventure movie coming in the next few months. I'll let you guys know my thoughts if I end up seeing it.

Dude, just saw it, and I concur.  The whole movie is quite amazing, and I enjoyed the way it portrayed post apocalyptia, but the last ten minutes made everything that much more worth it.  I had shivers almost the entire time.
I was so into seeing Book of Eli (I'm a huge sucker for post-apocalyptic fiction), until I started to get really, really strong preachy vibes from it.  Thoughts?

It's not in-your-face preachy. Very subtle in-fact.
