Dunno if this has been posted before, but www.noobroom.com is an amazing website for streaming movies. They have a pretty big collection and have most of the recent movies as well. The quality is fantastic for a stream. It might look sketchy but it's legit.

I also just watched the The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, but that's about 8 months late. I have yet to see The Avengers or the new Batman because my friend "doesn't like action movies". Ain't that some bullshit?
Saw The Cooler last night. I think I could watch William H. Macy in just about anything. Love that guy. Also new avatar...
Nitro Circus the Movie was fun.  Nothing to go out of your way to watch, but if you liked the series, you'll probably like the movie.

William H. Macy needs more roles. I love him in everything thing I see him in.

Also, watched Paul Thomas Anderson's first film, "Hard Eight", last night. It was nice to see him finding his style, but the movie itself was nothing special.
The Raid was pretty kickass.  A few issues with the plot and some of the choices that are made by characters, but it's brutal as hell.  Would not recommend the dub either, it's abit on the weak side.
I'm liking NooBroom thanks for that.

The international trailer for Skyfall looks awesome.
cabin in the woods is basically the best.
Hunger Games was pretty good.  Stayed pretty true to the book, though they really rushed through the first 1/3rd of the story and didn't really get quite enough development for certain characters, but overall it was good.
I have 2 beta invites left for http://letterboxd.com/

If no one else wants it, I'd be interested in both so I could pass them along to people I know would be interested.

I can't pass out the invites, I have to send the activation through an email.

Also, in other news, I just got back from seeing Paranorman. Let me be the first to say that this is without a doubt one of the best movies I've seen all year, as well as the most important children's movie I've seen since UP. It's so much more than a simple horror-comedy like the ads are saying, it's extremely tolerant, has an important message, and a really good story. The animation is top-notch (as it is the same team who brought you Coraline) and the effects are wonderful. I'll be writing a full review in a bit, so if anybody would like a more thorough reason to see the movie, please let me know.

As usual, you can skip the 3D. Barely noticeable.
If art must be judged objectively by its own criteria then I lovingly applaud the final destination series of which I have just watched the fifth. Just like Crank sets out to be an outrageous adrenaline pumping spectacle, final destination greatly succeeds with making the audience go "OH!". The plot is literally the same in every movie, the characters are thin, but it is still so much fun to watch with some friends. The creativity and absurdity of the deaths are what keep me coming back. The entertainment value is similar to that of old lawyer or doctor shows where you know they're gonna succeed but it's how they do it; the movie does a decent job of throwing in false cues so you're always still a little surprised by the way they die.
One of the shows I helped work on made a promo. :3
50/50 was not as good as I hoped it would be, but I suppose that's my fault for going in with expectations. Be warned though, the movie is 80% drama, 20% comedy, unlike the trailer.

Overall I think it works. I don't like the beginning and some of the characters, but the screenplay is really strong and Joseph Gordon-Levitt pulls out a really good performance. Give it a watch.

embed link is borked, is it the 'Dinner on Sunday' video?
Bourne Legacy was like fanfiction of the first three books. Right on up through the massive Hurt/Comfort subtext.
Now it's a fucking franchise and we can expect them to crap out infinite sequels.
