Is Voyage Home the one with the whales? Because that's a good one.

I've been watching DS9 for the first time the last few months. Good guy Netflix has been helping me fill a hole I didn't know existed.

Yes... it is the one with the whales.
Decided to watch C.H.U.D. on Netflix

is it just me or did they forget to add the ending...?
I guess I'm still playing catchup from Afghanistan since both these were release while I was over there (which is funny, because I'll be Damned if Hadji didn't have newly released movies within 2 weeks on bootleg DVD)

Since I'm working from home... like, UNTIL FUCKING SEPTEMBER:

I finally got the watch The Eagle... couldn't find it on Netflix, Amazon, anywhere, so I finally acquired the fuck out of it.

There's a long proud history of taking certain movies and using them as tools for instruction in the US Military.  I would use the first 30 minutes of this film to help explain to jrotc and rotc cadets and other officer candidates how things go when you do it right.   I'm not a fan of Channing Tatum, but he's had some OK roles, this is one of them.  If I could open up future leader's brains and literally insert the phrase "Better angry than dead", I would.

The Cabin in The Woods.

I remember discounting this as a typical slasher flick when I saw it in the Hadji Shops... now it's been on Netflix for a little while.  I finally watched it.  Dear Lord, I was wrong.  If you haven't seen it, do so, quickly.

Take a look at the writers, and you will understand. Whedon actually pointed out in an interview that him and his co-writer locked themselves into a hotel room for 3 months to get it written. I've been told is quite possibly the best horror film of our era.

It isn't really a horror film as much as it is a criticism of horror movies nowadays. That said, it's filled to the brim with wonderful gore and great production design so I would also recommend checking it out.
Watched the new True Grit, and saw serentiy again.
Thanks free month of netflix

yeah, and then everyone goes and plays L4D2 tonight...
Went to Fast & Furious 6 tonight. I haven't seen the first two movies, but from what I have seen, this is easily one of the best in the series. Probably not as good as Tokyo Drift, but better than 5 and definitely better than 4. They had a bit of fan service at the end that was pretty cool. At first I kind of groaned when I heard they were making a seventh film, but after seeing the stinger at the end of this one I'm excited for it.

Tokyo Drift was awesome for this song alone: tokyo drift - teriyaki boys
Saw a Leslie Nielsen movie last night called "Wrongfully Accused". Unlike Spy Hard, a lot of effort is put into the jokes and there's a shitload of special effects put to use. It's just too bad that so much of it isn't really funny. If you have nothing better to do, Wrongfully Accused will take 80 minutes up.
Iron Sky is a bad.
Watched Source Code and enjoyed it. Would recommend watching it.
