The Grey = AWESOME
Saw Chronicle tonight. Really solid half-way through, but gets kind of wobbly in the transition to the act 3 and stays that way for the rest of the movie. It alluded to a lot of things that were never really explained or explored, felt like the writers were either kicked off half-way through or that the screenplay went through heavy revisions during filming. Other than that, good way to waste 80 minutes.

Saw it as well. I really loved the plot... But mostly cause I wrote something similar to it Big Grin. The "Found Footage" technique was done amazingly well though, and I love how they really integrated it into the story to get around some of the flaws of that genre. I would recommend it. Smile

I loved the character development and the movie overall but thought the found footage got in the way after a while. Except at the end, it made the end a lot more intense in some parts. (I know the found footage helped with their camera budget, I just it started to be a distraction through most of the middle)

New spiderman trailer up. Still unsure about it, but I found this trailer a lot more effective at selling the movie than that mirrors edge vibe one.

Oh, that's what Mysterio wants you to believe.

On the other hand, does anyone else think that Killer Croc looks a little small?

Watched this yesterday. The first two parts are about the movie then the third is pretty much just about economics/gold.

I'm curious to see how they're going to top this casting:

Shut up, get out.

According to the IMDB page, they didn't even try. He's not in the movie at all.

It's a reboot. I remember reading something about Colombia being shitheads which caused the third one to suck, so Sam Raimi walked. They weren't done milking the franchise they bought the film rights to so instead of making number four they "re-imagined" it.
I don't how many of you have seen these, but behind the scenes video blogs of the making of the Hobbit have been posted fairly regularly. Since I know some of you are camera nuts, I thought there might be some interest in this episode in particular.

Tombstone was awesome, really great western stuff. Amazing cinematography was just the icing on the cake.
