I really want to see how they do this Sherlock Holmes.

Also Karth I wonder, have you read the Sherlock Holmes books/stories at all?
I have not.

Thanks. I just wanted to know before I took into account your review of the movie. I have, and I am a huge fan... I will be seeing this movie without relying on any other opinion, then, at this point.

Now I REALLY want to see this movie again.

rumsfald

Up in the Air was really good.
Also, Prince of Egypt wasn't as good as I remembered it being.
Can anyone tell me if UP is worth renting on itunes? How sad is it? Will it make me feel like shit? Is it shmalty? \

Edit: Nevermind, I rented it... we'll see how this goes...

In my opinion, UP is easily the best movie of the year.
Up made me cry. Like, throughout the whole movie. Then after the movie.

same. not ashamed to admit it, it was that good
you'll be happy to know I was not at all disappointment with it. It was sad but also funny at times. Fuck the miscarriage scene, fuck it hard in the ass.

Other then that it's the first movie I've considerd buying on Blu-Ray.
Saw Dances with Ferngully Avatar again, this time not in 3D. Wasn't as good as the 3D version, but this might mean I get to see it in IMAX. Then again, not sure if I want to watch it again. Tongue

Seen it 3 times already, once in regular 3D and twice in IMAX 3D. Didn't get bored once. Kept on noticing things in the scenery I didn't see before.
I'm not at a party, not in-game, not doing anything fun or interesting, or something else, so I invite you all to post your top ten (does not have to be in any particular order):

District 9
State of Play
Moon
UP
Avatar
Star Trek
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs
Up in the Air
500 Days of Summer
The Men Who Stare at Goats

Runner-Ups:
Zombieland
Princess and the Frog

My top movies of 2009 loosely arranged in order from best to not as best:

District 9
Avatar
Inglourious Basterds
Up
Watchmen
Zombieland
Star Trek

I still need to see Moon.
The only new movies I watched in 2009 were Star Trek and the new Harry Potter movie.  Both ok.
Tucker & Dale vs Evil Movie Trailer

oh my god this looks amazing
All of the movies next year look like utter shit.
Sorry, Iron Man 2 does not look like shit.
Saw Sherlock Holmes tonight. Pretty awesome..going to see Avatar tomorrow.
