Cat on a Hot Tin Roof was amazing and you all should see it.

The Mandarin as played by Sir Ben Fucking Kingsley.
Ehh, looks like a straight up Gorn flick. I see they remade the tree bondage rape scene, but if I wanted to see gorn I'd just go watch one of the 305 saw movies.

I thought Gorn was from Star Trek.

Is a mis-capitalization a form of typo?
Huh, could have sworn that movie sites started using "gorn" as a genre for horror movies that simply shove gore in your face.

[/quote]Gore porn. Gorn. I can see where you got that, but not even UrbanDictionary agrees with you.
I dunno, going by the trailer, they missed the part that made Evil Dead a classic.

Namely, camp factor and Bruce Campbell. What made the original trilogy so good was its tongue-in-cheek approach to the horror genre, this just seems like it'll be masturbatory ammo for people with a tree rape fetish.

Came for the tree-rape, stayed for the quips.
Just watched Cockneys vs Zombies...Cheesy, rather silly, but it's like Snatch mixed with Shaun of the Dead, though not nearly as good as either lol

And announced at the same time that they're coming out with a 7th live-action Star Wars movie in 2015. Guess the holiday special and Ewoks: The Battle for Endor don't count, eh?

Wreck it Ralph is starting to sound like it's pretty good so far, gonna go watch it tonight.
argo was pretty damn good. if you didn't like it well... argo fuck yourselves
Saw Cloud Atlas a few days ago. Definitely a movie that uses the medium of film creatively. It's one of those movies I think everyone should see once even if you don't care for the story or plot, but just to see how it was made. It starts out a little slow and confusing, but if you stick with it it will all start making sense. I wouldn't say it's a "thinker" movie per se, but you do need to pay attention if you want to get the most out of it.

I want to know whether this movie can stand on its own even with prior knowledge of the book (and the rest of the author's universe).
Wreck-It Ralph was a fun flick.  Story is your usual standard fare, but I enjoyed it.
