ROBOCOP - Official Trailer (2014) [HQ]

The trailer looked nice and all, but it looks like they stripped out all of the satire and turned it into a super serious action movie, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it's part of what made Robocop so good. On top of that, it's PG-13, so the action scenes will probably be tons of fast cuts. And it has four different writers listed so I'm thinking it was passed around a lot. Probably looking at a few action sequences sandwiched in between two hours of incoherent "drama." The cast is the only thing that might actually get me to see it.
I was surprised by the cast list.
Finally got around to watching Dredd. I was entertained.

The latest one, or the Stallone one?

[/quote]The remake. The Stallone one is Judge Dredd (and also entertaining, although quite a bit more slapstick), the remake is just Dredd.

I knew you'd say that.
if you haven't seen Chinatown, you should.

Jack Nicholson is neat.
watched fright night.

For a newer vampire movie its actually not half bad, as the vampires are your traditional crosses burn, holy water bad, stake through the heart, cant come in unless invited MOTHERFUCKING VAMPIRES.

The movie basically took Bram Strokers traditional story and vampire and made it into a bit more modern age telling of the story.
I'm sure as most people already know, Gravity was really good. The long-takes are beautifully done and the performances by Bullock and Clooney are really solid. I loved the mother/daughter themes that played throughout the movie and I think the dialogue did a great job of avoiding stereotyped characters.
Don Jon was not great 4/10, pretty boring.
Watched Doubt and Moulin Rouge this week. Both 9/10 and that's not generally an easy rating for me to give out.
Watched Dredd for the first time today.

So very, very entertaining.  Had no idea Lena Headey was the villain either.  Man that was just a fun one to watch.

you should see it in 3d.
Saw Frozen with my younger cousin over the holiday. Pretty nice movie. Good songs, well-written, lots of stuff for kids and adults to enjoy.
12 Years A Slave was a no-bullshit movie. Completely realistic all the way through and very difficult to watch at points. I jumped at a particular moment that struck me with horror. Phenomenal performances across the board and just heartbreaking at parts.
frozen was really good, can kristen bell belt it or what
Grabbers Official Trailer
