Have you guys seen 'Orphan'? So freaky.
My friends and I watched it for Halloween along with The Shining.

My favorite horror film is definitely The Birds. Just look at the movie poster, how can you NOT find it terrifying?

Dead Alive and The Exorcist in the same day. Too much. DO NOT WANT

Aye, Dead Alive was essentially 104 minutes of insanity, blood, and increasingly disgusting effects. Good movie.
[Finally] watched Superbad last night.
Batman Year One was really fucking good.
Fright Night 1980's was meh. I liked the new one better.
Watched Halloween for Halloween. Good way to end our horror marathon, creepy movie.

After two weeks the verdict is

Scariest: The Exorcist

IMO Best: Scream

Honorable Mention: Halloween for coming in 2nd for both categories.
Watched Raging Bull tonight. Not entirely sure what to make of it, but I'll watch it again someday. It'll go on my list along with 8 1/2, Being John Malkovich, and Five Easy Pieces.
History of the World pt. 1 might be the best comedy I've ever watched.

Possibly, 3D that doesn't 'suck' ?

I generally have respect for Peter Jackson and his creative decisions.
I guess we will see.

For the most part, movies natively shot in 3D are good. The bad ones are the ones that aren't.

So far, the only movies I've seen with good 3D are animated, especially Dreamworks' movies. I don't think I've seen a live-action one with anything notable.

Avatar had bitchin' 3D. Though to be fair, most of that was animated.
