I wish the technology existed to completely capture an isolated moment. Sight, sound, smell, emotion, the whole thing. I was driving home and saw a sunset that looked like the world was on fire while wood smoke came through my air vents and I was listening to kool keith and tom waits. I felt like I was ready to face the end of the world.

I think if you are a big Palin fan, you think her style is very honest, "small town", and not influenced by DC lobbists or clever speechwriters. It's simple, which to some means "American". I don't think any real Palin fan would be offended by a direct quote, would they? I highly doubt she has a ghost-writter for a Twitter.
