Well, looks like I may be switching to netflix sooner than previously thought.
I wish I had bought NFLX stock 10 years ago. It's right around $250 a share.

Someone let me know what the next big thing is so I can throw money at it now.

AAPL, GOOG, etc are in for a huge correction. They are incredibly overvalued. One bit of bad news is going to make them tumble. I think it'll be Steve Jobs dying that will set it off.

The saddest thing is that Metacritic may be the most trustworthy site out there for user-reviews. (at least for movies, anyways)
Something interesting a teacher mentioned was that supposedly there is this privately owned road in New York that everyone in the public uses for convenience and the company that owns it doesn't care, but once a year they close it off to all traffic for no other reason than to prevent the public from claiming an easement. To take an easement by prescription you need to prove continuous use for x years, this way they keep the use from being continuous.

Ask them if you can race your car on it.

my old job did that. They had gates on both sides of their property and every summer when the plant was shut down they closed the gates on one side (the kept the other side open so employees could get in). It was hilarious watching cars drive down the road then stop at the gate and wait for like 5 minutes before turning around.
