Factually incorrect when the indication is clear and the dosage is correct. Many classes of medications do not induce a tolerance effect.

I've yet to meet a person who sought professional treatment for an emotional or mental reason who's first strategy for improving their life involved medication. Everyone hates the thought of having to take mood or mind altering pills to feel how they want to feel. I don't recommend you ever say this again to anybody, ever.

Adderall and Xanax and Zoloft have particularly spotty safety records and are the 3rd or 4th line treatments in their class. Xanax is particularly evil, unless all you use it for is to pop one for fear of flying before boarding.
How do you explain my 100 MG dosage of ritalin not doing shit for me after a while then?
Anyway, as I said, I stopped adderol due to it making me as depressed as at0m states he is. And Focalin didn't do shit. So I just don't take any anymore. If I need to concentrate now I make myself tea and turn on classical music.

I can't say.
I didn't try to explain that.
I'm not your physician.

And that wasn't your question. You said

To which I said:

You were responding to a point about, among other things, antidepressant medications, many of which do not induce a tolerance effect. I was correcting your over-broad and erroneous statement that people can develop an immunity (tolerance) to ALL medications.

The recommended dosage for ritalin (methylphendate) is up to 60MG-72MG a day (depends on short vs. long-acting). Source:
http://www.drugs.com/dosage/methylphenidate.html
The NIH (National Institutes of Health) says:
Quote:Methylphenidate can be habit-forming. Do not take a larger dose, take it more often, take it for a longer time, or take it in a different way than prescribed by your doctor. If you take too much methylphenidate, you may find that the medication no longer controls your symptoms, you may feel a need to take large amounts of the medication, and you may experience unusual changes in your behavior.

If you have further questions about your individual situation, you should consult with your current or previously prescribing physician.

Crap, now I just feel like an ass
Just knowing which buildings on campus Rummy spent the majority of his time during Grad school, I would just shut up and listen when he speaks on these topics.Â
Alright I apologize for my improper information. But it was the situation in my case. And ultimately, adderol gave me the problems as described. And ritalin and focalin did jack shit. So ultimately... I just stopped taking any of them.
I come home from work tonight after taking the bike today. As I walk in the door my dad asks me if it's cold enough outside for me. I asked him what he was talking about, it was rather nice out maybe around 40 degrees. He said that it was 10 degrees out. I told him that there was no way the temperature was that low. He picks up the clock and shows me that it's 10.14 degrees. I asked him how much he had to drink tonight because he was looking at the clock.

I didn't get an invite either, I just started jerking off alone in a corner and after a WHOLE lot of people walked by and expressed their disgust, a few decided to stick around and jerk off with me. I think we're approaching critical mass.

I argued my case with them, but
a couple of the required apps (First Consult, MediBabble) just aren't available. And I thought I had sworn off Apple products.
