The program I want to attend requires at least two years work experience so I fulfill just about all the requirements needed. Still need to take the GMAT or GRE exam (leaning towards the GRE right now) and get some professional recommendations, not to mention secure some grant/scholarship money if possible, all before Nov 15 if I want to start in the spring. The company I work for does offer tuition assistance, however I have to get it approved my manager and the annual limit won't even cover one 9 credit semester. I've got the time for it so as long as I can secure some financial assistance there really isn't a downside to doing this.
You don't see yourself as a senior Linux guru because you don't yet have a beard.

Not for employment, I just really like mech engineering.
If I ever overthrow my boss in a hostile takeover and thus am able to support us, I will pay for this.
Reading through 2K's XCOM forums makes me think that there could be a video game fanbase that's whiner than the people who bitch about every little change in the newer Elder Scrolls games.

I can't remember which is which, but one of the two tests is for MBAs and the other is a more generic 'graduate school' test.
As you go looking, personally, I'd look for full time programs. Trying to do the work/school thing will limit your choices to schools in the near vicinity which may or may not be good depending on the program you go into.
Also it can take 3 - 5 years to complete :/

You're right traditionally the GMAT was the only exam accepted by business schools but these days a lot of business schools are accepting GRE scores as well.
It is very common for people in the program that I want to attend to do the part time night thing since the campuses are so close to DC. If I follow their projected schedule I can finish in four years attending class two nights a week while still getting actual work experience from my day job. I don't mind being limited to local schools either. I'm not the sort of guy trying to get into Harvard or Stanford and I think most of the local schools will allow me to fulfill my goals.

Tomorrow, my local women's club ultimate team will be playing at the US club championships in florida! If you have nothing to do, consider watching some fun and competitive ultimate frisbee. Several of my past teammates from college are playing on the team so I'll definitely be cheering for them.
If you want the rules/dynamics/plays of the game explained, I'll be on IRC for the majority of the day.

I finally (after registering for it a year and a half ago) got into the SpyParty closed beta. Does anyone else have it?

Crow, I saw that this morning and was so consumed by a hatred for Hipsters I nearly made a post on Reddit. The knot is just backwards, and the top comment with the Venn diagram is spot on.

No. I have vintage ties from my departed grandfather that will stop at the middle of my chest if I don't use a less-full knot. Different knots suit different tie length and fabric.

You're too down-to-earth to be able to float quite up to pompous ass status easily.

I'd never sully my being with such heinous fashion sense.
King of the Hill costumes, or business as usual in the South?
That's why King of the Hill is so charming, because it doesn't differ that much from real life in small-town Texas.
