That's some fucking brilliant OPSEC there.
For the everyone here who hasn't had a secret clearance (by my count there are 3 here) those red stickers at the top of monitors are to signify that classified information passes through them.
also, if you've never seen a division level operations center, now you have.Â

The yellow and red strips on the screens show that classified systems are up, yellow is Canadian and red is the American feeds. You get a lot of shots of a COP (Common operating picture), that's were we get to see Santa.

Santa is a prototype superweapon developed by the Chinese government.

heh. Actually, I never did formally have secret clearance. I was supposed to have it. I had access to secret information. But the clearance process was so-backed up post 9/11 that I went my whole tour without formal clearance. Yay, bureaucracy! Kinda funny, because part of what I did entailed having a role in making determinations about whether others should have secret, TS, SCI, or PRP. Wait, that's not funny at all.
Nice to see the Canucks use the same cisco IP telephony as The Office.
Also, with the supposed separation of church and state (at least in the US), I wonder how much federal money/time is spent on what is essentially pro-christian propaganda.
pro-christian? I'm not so sure.
The current incarnation of Santa Claus as a fatty dressed in red and white is a Coca-Cola creation from the thirties. He's no Saint Nicholas, turning brass balls into bags of gold so a shopkeeper wouldn't have to pimp out his daughters. He isn't followed by the Krampus, who whips bad children when he's not carrying them down to hell.

Skip it and go directly to Media Composer (to a lesser extent FCP.)
Sony Vegas is easy stuff once you find a few 1000 loops and one shots.

Seriously. Now that Media Composer has the software only option you should get a pirated copy and learn the shit out of it. Still, you can learn the concept of editing with Vegas, so good for you either way.

Oh I've edited before. I got plenty of practice on my mac with iMovie(even if it is a simple editor) and a few encounters with Final Cut Pro at my church.
