Had the Star Wars Kinect launch party today and ended up with a review copy. It's a shame i have embargo until the game comes out next week :<.
The game itself is pretty fun to play with friends and family (*gasp* i'm noticing a trend here) but i felt the gameplay a bit slow.. Also versus is only a timed battle to see who destroys more droids.
It's really fun though, but a lot of waggle is involved

Anybody have super trippy thoughts before you fall asleep? I do.
While I was dozing off I got to thinking "What if words are a form of magic?" I mean think about it. The more well placed your words are the more influence they have upon people and the larger vocabulary you have the easier it is to confound people or influence people.
The real magic is communicating your own thoughts and feelings so succinctly, or so comprehensively, that people are compelled to believe what you believe. Words + Charisma = Majick

What makes up a efficient charisma do you think?
[/quote]
Channel Kor or Rummy.
But that won't do much to create magic if the words aren't quite what you want. I can (sometimes) channel the charisma, but finding the appropriate words and arranging them to properly convey a very specific sentiment is my major hurdle in the creation of magic.
Trying to use Rainmeter again.

Damn, now I remember why I gave up. This is not simple for someone with almost as little knowledge of computers as myself. Figured out how to install skins & themes, great. Want a GPU monitor? Try all these plugins and software that don't work! How about a WAN IP display? Good luck! And since you're not apt to find an existing skin pack with all of these, I guess you'll have to design all the graphic elements yourself! 4 hours of futzing with it and I have nothing real to show for it.
why do you ever see your desktop
Okay.. i take everything back i said about Star Wars Kinect, today i tried my review copy..
AND OH GOD THIS GAME IS AWESOME..
Love the comic Fanboys-Online. The jokes are clever and it doesn't force itself to talk about current video games like most webcomics do. The guy who runs the site recently started putting up comics at a good pace until this Monday. Today, he posted
that his brother was shot and killed on Tuesday. I hope this doesn't hurt him too much.

What the actual fuck? The guy's brother was just killed. You don't just shake shit like that off. His web comic should be the last thing on his mind right now.

That's why I didn't say "I hope this doesn't hurt the webcomic too much".
Today I saw a customer wearing a shirt with the Delorian from Back to the Future crashing into the TARDIS.
I want this shirt.
Does anyone have/know where I can buy this shirt?

It was a Woot shirt several months ago. Â
Unfortunately it was Reckoned on 2/20 and is no longer available. Might try http://teetrade.org/ or ebay, dunno. Search for 'nowhere' on Teetrade, and filter by available. There are several there. Buying it would be between you and the person listing it.
Why the fuck do people ask the same question multiple times, expecting a different answer?

Finding someone to take a summer sublet is kind of a bitch. Maybe 8 people have contacted me requesting information, and only a few have ever written back (one of them begging for half off the rent) after I spend a while describing the apartment and logistics. Still, if this rate of inquiries keeps up I shouldn't have to worry about it much longer.

Asking for a cheaper rent is pretty normal, at UofI for example, the number of students staying down for the summer versus the number that need to sublet is very disproportionate, so people can easily bargain they way down to 66% or lower of the rent.
one of you just posted this

so much control. I want to get a beater dual sport with some sliders on it just to dick around and learn how to really control the bike.
