Gonna start running a Shadowrun group with some of my buds this Thursday. I'm pretty stoked to get started.
You GMing?
[/quote]Affirmative. It was my idea in the first place, and I'm really the only one with pen and paper experience amongst them (at least that I'm aware of).

I've been running a campaign in this, adapted l4d to tabletop rules.
Best things I've found
- Involve beer
- Don't take things too seriously, but lay a few ground rules (ie. no metagaming)
- Players will always break even the most well laid out plans
- Think on your feet, look at playing GM as a balance between telling a set story and doing improv
- Reward Player creativity and punish player ignorance
- Do not be afraid to kill off players' characters if the do something that would warrant them dying

I had a character that was a thief and con-man who had an irish accent. His(my) favorite target were cops and security personnel.
The one time I got to play this I had a character that was a Zeltron. They are all about pleasure and the like and are completely adverse to work or negativity of any form. I was on a pleasure craft with Talon Karrde.
I had to do checks all the time against all the urges my character had. See money? Roll dice. See a nice fountain? Roll dice. Lose. Get naked in fountain.
ALLLLL THE TIME
I wish we could have played more than an hour. It was awesome.

I have friend who still have the books. If I end up going to ACEN, I'll try to snag a few and we can possibly do a small campaign.
Important question guys

the pec was my second choice of location, but i still kinda want to know how much growth affects the ink image
Whenever I see someone with a tattoo I immediately want to be them because tattoos are the coolest thing ever.

tbh your inner bicep is kind of a terrible location and u would probably cry anyway. Â go big or go home.

iunno, it's in an easy enough part of my body to hide, and it's really easy to roll up my sleeve to show it
i dunno, i just dont like tattoos for some reason
never found them to be attractive or say anything about the person other than "i spent my allowance on this bad boy"
tattoos just seem like a bad decision
Anyone wanna play L4D2 or seed a server?

youve obviously never been to prison
I like the idea of a tattoo but can't decide on any one thing that ought to be on my skin for the rest of my life
