32% of my files are fragmented, I only have 20 GB of free space, and my computer crashes when I try to play games.
Time for some housekeeping.
I've been reading a lot of rape law, it really isn't what you would expect it to be.

In most US jurisdictions force is a requirement. Just saying no isn't enough, you have to kick and scream (probably literally). In others a lack of consent is enough. In one case we read a judge who said a woman doesn't have to say no (or resist), but she has to say yes (or give clear nonverbal affirmative). So there is a huge spectrum. Some cases we read the guy should definitely be in jail and got off, in one if the guy was telling the truth most wouldn't think he was doing anything wrong but he got thrown in jail.
The tl;dr advice I got from it is if you are a guy ask at least the first time, if not every time. It's not sexy but it will keep you out of trouble. If you are a girl, fight back as much as you can under the circumstances. Not only does it keep you from having to go through a rape trial and have the guy get off some statistics say that 80% of rape attempts where the woman fights back fails.
For rape to occur, his junk needs to be in close vicinity to victim.
Said junk has balls.
Said balls are p.vulnerable and squishy.

I'm starting to think watching television and film is poisonous to my mind. I become too involved in the characters relationships to one another and I feel pretty shitty when it's over. It doesn't help that my interests align with fiction and most films just show me how boring the remainder of my life is going to be. Though I suppose I've felt the same at the end of Half Life, Mass Effect, and Portal. At least with games I feel like I'm creating the story, even if it does complete.
Is it odd to anyone that the crisis of what I'm going to do with the rest of my life is summed up by a few statements about film?
Maybe it's my complete lack of faith that makes me dread living a long, drawn out life.
Maybe I need to get off my ass and write my own story instead of living in another.
Maybe I'm fucking crazy and I need to talk to someone about it and here I am.

nothing wrong with immersing yourself in film. It's considered an art form for a reason, and should be appreciated as such. Er, ignoring all the retarded crap that they shovel down our throats every year.
What you need to do is get out there, and enjoy yourself bud. Gather a few mates around, and hit the town for a movie, bite to eat, beer run, whatever. Just remind yourself that even if your life is "boring," you can still enjoy it to the fullest.
Plus you'll look back fondly at the quiet times of your life when the Zombiepoclapse comes shamblin' to your door.

Grass is always greener somewhere else, enjoy what you got, you were fortunate enough to be born in a first world country where you are generally safe, secure, and have lots of opportunities.
Like Merc said, nothing wrong with living vicariously or enjoying good art, just don't make it an obsession.
I probably should just go take a ride on my bike and clear my head.

Unfortunately I've drifted away from most of my friends. I made the horrible decision of getting a job where the majority of my existing friends already worked; thus I never see them.
I really want to take my life and travel and see other places, I've not yet figured out how to work that into the whole making money for food thing.

F that s. Just pick up and go. A friend of mine lived in an abandoned barn for six months and then rode a bicycle across the country. Probably the coolest guy I know.

It's been a consideration of mine as of late, I'm very close to paying off my loan though that's my short term goal for now.

Yeah, just take baby steps for now. Even the best freeze up when they look at the distant future. Get your loan down and out, and then you can move on to the next issue. Travel if it's what you want, money shouldn't be an object that stops you from it.
I got my ticket to Mickey's very merry christmas party. I hope it is merry.
