This is a question for Rumsfald I think:
How are you not terrified of everyday life after all the shit we have to read about?

our generation has an innate bullshit-sense? all i have to do is look at status updates on my facebook homepage, and...uh...
It's different; you live in Texas!
As for the papers, Imma sound like a dick but a lot of the english majors in my fiction class are just horrible at writing and forming arguments in general. During a workshop we had I was proofreading people's thesis statements...many of which lacked a thesis statement. Stuff about how something basic is a theme in this book, or that one behavior is "bad" in another.
Then again, my view of English/literature/fine arts in general is kinda biased after all those times I'd spend <2 hours writing a paper and get an A, but spend days studying for a very simple exam and get a B. Meh?
EDIT: Doesn't help that my English TA semi-plagiarized my work earlier this quarter. Still upset about that.

That used to piss me off so much as well... Do next to no work on a paper and get a good grade, but study for an exam in something else and get a lesser grade.
FUUUUU

I don't see how that's so strange. It just means you're better at writing papers than taking tests, or you understand the first class's material better than the second one's.

Even in the same class on the same material, with the same writing style used on the papers?

Grading is subjective as hell too. Some of the horror stories I've been hearing are terrible.
I got marked down on a class about writing essays using formal argumentation for not being creative enough.
Wat.

Well in that case the teacher has unrealistic expectations for papers written under a strict time limit with limited resources.

Hek did you have something to do with this?
I'll see if I can find the RFC at work tomorrow.
We often order games for our rec centres, tho multiple copies for one location is a little odd..

Gears of war was good on the PC.Â
Professional essay writer article was good.
About to start reading the article, "Long Live the Web."Â First p-graph piques my interest.
I really don't understand English as a class. Especially vocabulary. On our vocab quizzes, we have to write sentences that leave zero room for error in showing the definition of the word. My problem is that if its 100% explicit what the word means, do you really need that word in there?

The exchange program I did in Germany two years ago fucking owned. Where did you stay? Also did you have to attend school because I'm pretty sure I only stayed at school for like four days out of 5 weeks and just skipped the rest and got drunk.
