I just breezed through that entire conversation and don't care enough to actually read it.
I'll just assume Dave's right but hurt someone's feelings so they went to cry and listen to Linkin Park and are now arguing something stupid.

All I'm saying (and I may be totally out of place) is that it might be intimidating for a new comer to have huge drama filled quote pyramids hijacking their threads. Theirs absolutely nothing wrong with greeting someone, and making some playful remarks, and that's exactly what should happen, but can't you see how it might be intimidating and uninviting for a potential new member to see what's supposed to be a thread about being welcoming get derailed by huge quote pyramids full of unpleasantness  and references to drama they have no clue about? Hell, we don't need this shit anywhere on the forums. Say what you will about Dtoid, but Don't Suck really is a rather good standard to base your conduct on. We don't need to have threads derailed by one foolhardy, but totally ignorable post, which gets quote pyramided into a wholly uncouth spat of bickering that kills the otherwise pleasant discussion. Shit sucks, let's try and not do it

[/quote]olol, i'm pretty sure Dave calling you an asshole or w/e is more drama than little jokes about members. Jesus christ, I'm starting to think it's you people who get butthurt over ever last little thing that need to grow up, and not people like Face.

there's a time and thread for that, intro posts are neither of those.

I'm not gonna bother typing up a new reply. Just take this, and make it more meek and formal and you'll have my response. Pretty bickering is unneeded anywhere, and especially not in a thread that's supposed to help welcome a new member to the community.
[edit]Dave beat me to it, and probably said it in a far more roundabout way as well >.<[/edit]
Surf's rule. You've all said your piece. If you are really interested in working things out, take it to PM. There is no reason to keep repeating your position ad nauseum. Live and let live or you get the foot.
NO MORE DRAMA
Seriously drama in THIS thread doesn't help either. NOW BE FUNNY.

anyway, just explainig why i have a contorted cat picture as my avatar.
Mmmm Dramas. You want real dramas, give people M16s and deprive them of sleep.
Dave, Every place I've lived has had this:
Before you ask, yes, I did just GIS mushroom cloud and the same damn picture of that nuclear test popped up, it's very popular.
