If HR is defacto evil, wouldn't that make anti-HR good?
I used to work in HR, so I can confirm; HR departments make daily sacrifices to the devil.Â
Then again, this is lawyers we're talking about. Maybe they're siblings fighting over daddy's (and by "daddy" I mean "Satan") affection?Â

This it the only possible explanation.

My very first 3.5 character, and the only one I liked to use in Diablo 2.

Stuck on a broken bus on the side of the highway, may be late for work.
can't edit from my phone. Stuck here for 2 hours for them to send a bus from NYC to pick us up. Definately going to be late if I even make it.

Maybe I am missing some context, but it seems like we've not been very welcoming to
some newbies
recently.
Our rules don't say much about having to play any specific game. They basically say:
Be courteous of other members and admins
  Treat others with respect
and
One thing not noted in the Rules threads, however, is that it is appreciated when you take the time to use proper grammar and punctuation. After reading the rules, THEN post an intro thread. It's suggested that you don't just post a one-liner- Tell us about yourself and your likes....
...We're an big community, and I hope you'll become active in it! Have fun!
Even when it comes to minecraft, we suggest that people "
perhaps" make an intro post. It's never been a requirement to make an intro thread. Hell,
some people even used to joke about it.
This bugs me a bit, as one of those recent newbies was referred here by a real life friend - who happens to be a BRBu member who signed up on this forum before me.
If you refer a real life friend here as a way to better appreciate a game, even if is mostly to play on our well run servers, wouldn't you want them to receive a good gamer's welcome? I like to think that's why I've stuck around here for coming up on four years - because we generally try to appreciate gamers in all their forms.
