Applied at a Menards distribution center today.

Here's to hoping I get a job.
interesting tidbit from buzz:

Anyone in China who's 80 right now has already survived WW2, the Civil War, the Great Leap Forward, the Anti Rightist campaign, and the Cultural Revolution. They're still going to be doing Tai Chi in the park at 100 because there is nothing on Earth left that can kill them.

1st stage: nothingness (all mass in existence with infinitely small volume)
2nd stage: sudden creation of first generation of elemental gods (big bang -> loads dust -> star formed)
3rd stage:  new generations of gods and the world are created by gods having children (exploding of stars, creation of elements by fusion in stars' cores, and expansion of the universe)

so greek lore is a surprisingly accurate metaphor for what we understand about the universe's creation and existence. (at least it's closer than 7 day creation)

herp herp edgy antichristian, lern2realize that they're fundamentally the same "something comes out of nothing"

Just to add on: The 7 days aren't literal days mate. Think of how long a day in the eye of God would be, considering human life in his time frame is "like a mist that appears for a while and vanishes."
Luin, you're needed in Omaha

I always contend that a lot of these places would be better with less restrictions they place on adopters. Obviously you don't want the animal coming back a few months later, but I know when we were looking to adopt a boxer every place they required that you have a fenced in yard for any medium to large sized dog and a few wanted to do a "home inspection".

Really now?

Went to a breeder, they didn't care one way or the other, and he's just fine on a leash in the backyard when he needs to be outside.
They need to make having a cat spayed or neutered not so expensive.
Here they have a lot of vets that charge extra low fees for spaying or neutering animals under certain circumstances like if they are strays. I think they even have a program where they will give you a trap to catch a stray, they will spay or neuter it for free, then you can release it back where it was.
Gotta love DIY medicine. Just got rid of a ganglion cyst by using my copy of A Dance with Dragons.

[/quote]The term "Bible bump" comes from a common treatment in the past that consisted of hitting the cyst with a Bible or another large book.[1] Rupture of the cyst is rarely curative.

I got a good smile from versus's new picture
I just pulled a load of laundry out of the washing machine, there were 7 .22 shells sitting in the bottom. (very shiny)

Couple that with the single live .22 round I found in my wallet yesterday @ work, and I think I need to stop using my pockets to transport ammunition so often.
